How can I place a round piece of track (bend)?
There is no dedicated function to draw a round piece of track. But you can convert a straight track into a bend or a spline or you can draw a bend, or arc, into copper and assign a certain signal to it.
1) Draw a straight piece of track in order to define start and end of the desired bend. Return to the pointer mode by [Esc]. Now click on the straight segment (M1) in order to highlight it. Now three little black touchpads appear with the highlighted piece of track. Click the middle one by (M2). Now from the appearing context menu select "Convert into an arc" (circular) or "Convert into a spline" (B?zier curve, free curve). Now you can place the bend according to your wishes. You might switch off the grid for a while by [F6]. If you definitely know a certain point upon the bend, you might press key [+]. Now enter or select its coordinates manually.
2) Select the mode of creating an arc/torus using key [a], see layout menu Elements. With key [o] for options you can select a copper layer to draw on. After the torus is placed (in the sense of a painting in copper) you now need to assign a signal to it. Do a double click on the torus (M11) and select a signal from the list.
