How can I use a copper filled area like a conductive connection?
In the tool bar in the selection under the drawing functions (pen) there is a blue filled polygon.

Choose this function and place the polygon by normal mouse clics M1 to the corners as desired. Finish the polygon by arriving at the stert point or just by clicking [Return]

After [OK] a signal polygon with thermal pads appears: (Image 3: Copper polygon with thermal pads)
