A component does not appear in the generated schematic. What do I have to do?
We assume that you started with a "PCB without schematic" and now all packages are placed in the PCB and connected with tracks according to the original.

1) Select all the packages you place in the board as schematic symbols, not just as packages. TARGET cannot guess from a DIL16 what schematic symbol it should have
in the end:

1 (Fig. 1: Do not use the [Package] tab above, but [Components] )

2) The package must be connected to the circuit with trac
ks, so at least one solder pad must have a signal name that occurs with other signals.

3) The CMPID must point to the correct component in the database (Component ID):

2 (Fig. 2: CMPID in the package)

3 (Fig. 3: CMPID in the component database)

4) When assigning schematic pages, the component must show up and have a page and have the correct CMPID:

4 (Fig. 4: The "Page" field must not be left blank)

5) Check the component property REVENGBESTPAGE (Reverse Engineering Best Page):

5 (Fig. 5: REVENGBESTPAGE must not be missing)

6) Now start the menu item "Generate
raw circuit diagram ..."
