Theme: Isolation milling
I would like to mill a narrow slot in my PCB, how can I do this?
I would like to better decouple the mains voltage on the PCB from the rest and would like to have a milled slot in the PCB in a special area. I have therefore drawn a line in the milling layer that is as wide as my milling cutter. However, this is not output.
It is better to use the layer "23 = PCB outline". Draw the outline of your slot there as a kind of inner cut-out:

Please note that this outline must be at least as wide everywhere as the milling cutter you use to mill the outline. The ends can be round or square, the milling cutter always mills round as expected.
