"This app has been blocked for security reasons" or "This app cannot be run on the PC" - what to do?
If Windows refuses to install or start the software with mostly older TARGET versions, go to the location of the EXE file to be executed in the Windows file browser. Hold down the [Shift] and [Ctrl] keys and click on the EXE with M2. The extended context menu of the EXE file appears and you select "Copy as path". The clipboard now contains the complete path of the file enclosed in quotation marks:
"C:\Program Files (x86)\ibf\TarV\{version}\{edition}\TarV{version}.exe"
Now press the Windows key at the bottom left of the keyboard and enter "cmd". In the list that appears at the top, you will see the entry "Command Prompt App". Also click on this with M2 and select "Run as administrator" in the context menu. A console window opens and you type the keys [Ctrl] + [v] or [Shift] + [Ins] to insert the EXE path as a command line including the quotation marks. Then press the [Enter] or [Return] key to start the program or installer.
