The PCB has to get smaller, we are using SMDs now. How can I reposition the packages?
An existing PCB must be reduced in size. In the schematic we have replaced all the components with their SMD variants. How do I create a new blank PCB and place all the packages again on top outside the PCB so I can reposition them and then route them?
Answer: Please go to the PCB view and make all layers visible at the bottom of the Sidebar. Then type [Ctrl] + [a] to select everything. Then type [Del] several times until there is nothing left. Now start the PCB Outline Wizard and create a new smaller outline. Then start the Autoplacer to place the (SMD) packages again above the empty PCB. Then save the project under a new file name.
