The read in of a STEP model of a MID delivers the following error message:

The read in part looks rather good bot a closer look shows the edges not properly closed:

So no closed (waterproof) skin will be created on which the tracks could be placed. These gaps lead to "triangles withour neighbours". Unclear triangles won't give a triangle in space but only three tips upon a line.

Partially the body can be usable, at some places it will be impossible to move tracks. With a sharp outside corner, it is anyway difficult to get a conductive connection.
