Theme: XGerber and Excellon output, Sieb&Meyer, Gerber, photo plotter
Help! My PCB producer doesn't accept my XGerber files (any more)...
TARGET is currently adding some new Gerber X2 and X3 information to its XGerber files. This information is stored in comment lines, so all old XGerber interpreters should ignore them. Unfortunately, some ancient CAM programs stumble over these comments, especially outdated pirated CAM350 mostly from board manufacturers in faraway countries. Current CAM350 versions do not have these problems. One can disable the generation of the X2 and X3 additional information:

First click on the [Special >>] button in the lower right corner to open the right half of the dialog. Uncheck the boxes at the top of the dialog extension for X2 and X3. You should also use the [Standard] nomenclature of Gerber file extensions instead of the [TARGET] extensions.
