How can I hide the names or values of the packages?
The names and values of a package as default are placed on the same layer (21) as the drawing of the package. If you want to show or hide the names and values separately, you might use function: "Component names and values extra": (Image 1: Menu "Actions" in layout view)
TARGET now builds two new layers for each side top and bottom and puts them at the end of your layer stack:

The new layers immediately now appear in the sidebar:

The new layers are displayed in the big layer dialog as well: (Image 4: The new layers in the big layer dialog)
Now you can fade in and fade out the layers as you please. If you get in further packages to your layout, their names and values are automatically distributet to the new layers.
