How can I create a coil from copper tracks?
You can use a spiral or draw the coil from lines. If you also want the coil to appear in the schematic, you can create a corresponding "package" for it. It is best to use lines and toruses without a signal. Then place two pads with which the coil can be connected.
To prevent error messages from appearing later during testing (DRC = Design Rule Check), you must switch off the short circuit check for the first and the last element that docks to the soldering pads:
(Fig. 1: Switch off DRC for that segment)
Then catch and export the package to the component database using the [x] key for eXport.
You can increase the effect of the coil by placing a via in the middle of the coil and laying tracks from the inside to the outside on the other side of the board in the same direction of rotation.
