Theme: Package, component in PCB
How can I mount my component horizontally or vertically on the circuit board (lying or standing)?
I have found a suitable component in the database, but it is shown standing (lying) in the PCB view. But I need it lying (standing).
If the component with the wrong mounting type is already placed in the board as a package (e.g. T12 = TO220 standing), first delete the housing. In any case, press the [Ins] key to bring up the next package. The T12 should now be in the list and clicked. Click on the box "Use different package" below.
After one moaning the case browser opens and you search "TO220_LIEGEND" and insert this case.
